Shop Stewards
(by workplace)
Shop stewards are individual Pacific Northwest Newspaper Guild
members who have volunteered to take a leadership role in their
workplace. They assist fellow employees in dealing with work and
contract issues, finding out answers to questions, and interacting
with management. If you have a meeting with your manager and want
to have a Guild representative present (in accordance with your
"Weingarten" rights), you should contact the nearest
steward in your workplace.
If you are interested learning more about serving as a shop steward,
