Executive Board members are elected by the membership of the
local and serve without compensation for two-year terms. All members
in good standing are eligible to serve on the board and to vote
in board elections.
The Executive Board functions as a board of directors for Local
37082. The board sets general policy for the local, authorizes
and oversees specific programs undertaken by local staff and members,
and approves the expenditure of local funds. The board meets monthly
(with occasional exceptions), usually on the second Tuesday of
each month. A full description of the duties of the board and
the rules governing its procedures can be found in Article 3 of
the local bylaws.
